Electric Boiler, Gas Boiler and Oil Fired Boiler in Montreal and Laval

Boilers that run on electricity, natural gas, or fuel oil are especially durable. When the weather gets very cold, dual-energy boiler systems are an effective, eco-friendly option that can help save you money.

At Confort Expert, we offer a wide range of hydronic heating appliances. Our boilers are manufactured by some of the most well-known brands on the market, including:

How Does It Work?

Boilers, also known as water heaters, use water to carry heat generated either by electricity, natural gas, or fuel oil. The heated water is sent to a radiator that distributes heat throughout the room. Once cooled, the water is sent back to the boiler to be reheated. If the water is able to circulate naturally, a gravity system will be used. Otherwise, a pumping system can be installed to force circulation.

Electric Boilers: Easy to install, effective and clean, the electric boiler is a compact heating unit that is perfect for private homes, condominiums, and commercial spaces.

Gas Fired Boilers: Due to their impressive energy efficiency, gas-fired boilers are among the most effective heating solutions on the market. Two types of natural gas boilers exist conventional steam boilers and condensing boilers. Whichever one you choose, these systems burn clean with very few polluting particles.

When Should You Replace Your Boiler?

The RBQ (Régie du bâtiment du Québec) recommends that all-natural gas be inspected annually by a specialized technician. In addition to inspecting the piping and looking for signs of potential water damage, the technician will be able to extract excess air, which can harm regular water circulation.

Unless it breaks for some reason, a well-maintained electric boiler can remain 100% effective almost indefinitely. Depending on the age of the appliance, gas-fired boilers can convert 95% of energy into heat. That figure is 82% for oil-fired boilers.

Here’s a tip: Don’t wait until your heating system is broken or defective to make a change. Schedule an appointment with one of our energy experts today. We’ll evaluate your current heating system and suggest the best solutions for your needs.
