Chauffez Vert
The government created the Chauffez Vert for home and residential building owners in Quebec who want to replace their oil or propane heating system or water heater with an appliance powered by a renewable energy source such as electricity.
Conversion component
Depending on your situation, you could receive up to $1,275 toward a heating system and $250 toward a water heater through the Chauffez Vert program.

Canada Greener Homes Grant
This federal grant encourages Canadians to make their homes more energy efficient. It provides the largest rebate on heat pumps (between $2,500 and $5,000) but also has the most stringent eligibility requirement. For example, you must get a blower door test through the Rénoclimat program.
